Damon Deteso

Dr. Damon Deteso - Experienced Diagnostic Radiologist from New York

Dr. Damon Deteso is a seasoned radiologist whose career spans clinical medicine, research, and emerging technology. Since 2004, he has worked in private practice with Millennium Medical Imaging PC, interpreting a full spectrum of imaging studies for five hospitals in the Saratoga Springs, New York region. Dr. Damon Deteso interprets CT scans, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies. His work supports diverse patient populations from emergency departments and outpatient clinics.

Before becoming a radiologist, Dr. Damon Deteso trained extensively in radiology. He completed his residency and served as chief resident at Tufts University School of Medicine before pursuing fellowship training in cross-sectional imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. He earned his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and holds a BA in physics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he was in the National Physics Honor Society.

While at the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Damon Deteso participated in volunteer research work in radiologic physics and contributed to a published abstract presented at the Radiological Society of North America. More recently, he has expanded his focus to include artificial intelligence (AI), advising Imagen Technologies on the development of AI X-ray analysis systems. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, traveling, basketball, and astronomy.
